Rocky Road Recipe
With a few days to go until Christmas we have been thinking about all the food we are going to be eating. Here is our favourite rocky road recipe which we will be enjoying this festive season –
300g milk chocolate, broken in to squares
6 tbsp golden syrup
140g rich tea biscuits, roughly crushed
12 marshmallows, chopped in to quarters
100g of chocolate malt balls
Line a 17cm/6 ½ inch square tin with non-stick baking paper
Melt the butter, chocolate and syrup in a large pan over a low heat, stirring frequently until smooth.
Stir the crushed biscuits and sweets into the pan until well mixed. Pour in to the lined tin.
Put it in the fridge until hard and then take out of tin and remove paper. Cut into squares.
